Strawberry Biscuit Shortcake

It is perfect for a day one would like to spend with family and friends to have something sweet and munchy. Or a recipe one would love to make with friends with some chit-chats as it’s very easy to make. 

So the ingredients are 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, 1/4 cup sugar, 3/4 teaspoon baking powder, 1/8 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon shortening, 4 tablespoons 2% milk, fresh strawberries and whipped cream as garnish.

Blueberries and Cream Coffee Cake

One who loves caffeine will love this cake. It has a mixed taste of blueberries and coffee, which will be sweet and strong. It is the perfect light dessert for summer. 

One can make it easily by adding 1 cup butter, softened 2 cups sugar, 2 large eggs, room temperature, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 cup sour cream, 1 cup fresh or frozen unsweetened blueberries, 1/2 cup packed brown sugar, 1/2 cup chopped pecans are optional, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1 tablespoon confectioners’ sugar and some powdered sugar for garnishing. 

Raspberry Cream Sugar Cookies

This cookie will give a tangy and sweet taste which is the speciality. It’ll taste better if it is refrigerated for a few hours and taste. 

It has a very simple recipe and it only needs 1/2 cup white baking chips, 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream, 6 ounces cream cheese, softened, 1/4 cup red raspberry preserves, 1 package sugar cookie mix, 1/2 cup butter, softened, and a large egg. Bake it like a normal cookie and serve it with raspberry cream filling. 

Cherry Hand Pies

These are traditional pies with the cherry mixture as jam in the middle. It has a crunch to it and tastes very good for an informal gathering. 

This dish needs a lot of ingredients like 6 tablespoons water, divided, 2 tablespoons sugar, 2 tablespoons cherry brandy, 4-1/2 teaspoons cornstarch, 1-1/2 teaspoons lemon juice, 1 teaspoon quick-cooking tapioca, 1/4 teaspoon grated lemon zest, Dash salt, 2 cups fresh or frozen pitted tart cherries, thawed and halved, 1 cup fresh or frozen pitted dark sweet cherries, thawed and halved, pastry for double-crust pie, and 1 large egg. 

For the icing part it needs 2-2/3 cups confectioners’ sugar, 3 to 4 tablespoons hot water, 2 tablespoons butter, melted, 1/2 teaspoon almond extract, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, Dash salt, Freeze-dried strawberries, crushed (optional).
